Fun With The Sky Replacement Tool on Photoshop

I just recently discovered that you can change the sky of your pictures while using Photoshop. Which literally changes EVERYTHING! This tool becomes super helpful when taking pictures in weird lighting outside because it allows you to be able to edit your photos without having to worry about washing out the color of the sky completely.

Before using Photoshop, this was a problem I ran into A LOT, especially on sunny days. Which tend to be the most popular for taking pictures! See my problem now?! So for this week's “New to Me” photography technique, I played around with the Sky Replacement tool Photoshop offers. It was a part of one of the newer updates to photoshop, so if you're not running the newest version of this software you might not be able to achieve the same results that I did.
